Frustration for and at someone I love
Alive
Everyone’s soaring through the air tonight
Faint crackles of interaction flow through the Network
What to do?
Where to go?
What to be?
Lazy dreams and hazy scenes
Soon forgotten, let’s pretend they never end
And tomorrow, over there, around the globe
New starts to get those horses in front of carts
Maybe not the Promised Land
Ancient deserts and gentle hands
That turn the Earth, as She twirls
Spinners whirl, I never learn
As the wax drips from the candle
Drop, by drop; drops, don’t stop
The World seems so unconcerned
As the fires of time eat and burn
Just to be alive
To see surrender in her eyes
But the liar’s eyes will cry
Softly, on the inside
And she calls out to be held
As the limitless rise towers above them
Above us all, down here, so small
Angels, maybe, the hopeless nations
Rise and fall, educate and war
On such a thin shell of rock
My Rock, as we orbit round my Star
Lessons from Santiago y Cajal
Mental wires and electric fires
If you can’t throw out your soul then I will...
...Take some soil and then take root
Drawing spirit from our inner brilliance
We need our roots, the trees agree
Some centre-point, some focus
To the inner eye, the tree’s a lotus
Focus on the ties that bind us
As they blossom there
Focus!  Those lies, they’ll blind us
Capture a vacant stare
There’s always some fool who’s all “me, me, I”
...am what, “wider than the sky?!”
