Dark poetry
Run!
Flee from the last salient light of calmness,
All alone in the dark.
Panic is now your steadfast companion;
Seeking a way but falling amid tangled vines and pitfalls.
Go, go now
And do not dare to chance a backwards glance,
For you run from what you have become
Alone in the dark.
