November Downpour

Noverber Downpour

Cold grey clouds
ready to drop
on unprepared wonderers.
Not a gentle mist,
A pleasant shower,
Or even a mild rain.
No!
This cloud carries
an angry flood
to drench and flow
beyond the truest covering.
Soaking, freezing, depressing.
Only a warm bath,
a warm bed,
or a warm friendship
can shelter the unfortunate,
the sorry soggy victims
of this November downpour.
