Poem about someone in my past
There he stands
A statue of icy granite
But in him lies
A heart of molten lava
This I know
I've touched this heart
Felt the heart through the cold.

There he stands
Appearing not to care
But his appearance falters
He releases this care
This I know
I've felt this care
Known the sympathy and the apathy.

There he stands
A mystery to many
But in my heart
Lies the key to the mystery
This I know
I've unlocked this mystery
Able to understand his eccentricity.
