Dealing with a newly found loneliness.

Winter creeps up, kisses my goose bumped skin
Reminds me I have no one to hold
Shadows fall early, street lamps flutter orange
Nightfall grows ever more cold!

A lonely vibe, my glass stands as one! Not two
No more velvet kiss goodnight
A vast field of bed, drawers deep and unfilled
No use for soft candlelight

The missing of one’s touch, the tender flesh
Liquid silk poured from a crystal glass
Solely me, as in “I” not us, we, them or those
Just the one, but I’m going first class!
