waiting for my loved one, whom I knew would only leave me again.
Desperate to cross the rivers and seas,

Scurrying over the forests and the trees,

Leaving behind a land of ease,

That garden of roses beneath a gentle breeze,

I come seeking the warmth of her breath,

To drown in eyes like a moon's crest,

To dance my pulse on her soft, wet lips,

To touch her soul upon her tender finger tips,

Sleeping to her lullabies of flowers and dews,

To live any life that we may so choose,

No worries for food, no ills to cure,

Nourished by the depth of a love so pure,

This snow would melt, each crystal, each grain,

When she first steps upon this frozen, harsh plain,

Cruel world, I do not fear your glare,

Nor for your snydes do I spare a care,

I await the night in her lap I dream,

Oh! so far her return it seems,

My beloved! My light! We shall join again,

But, Alas! to be torn apart, once again...
