I am from the United States, and I wrote this poem in remembrance of September 11th.

                                                                  High in the Sky

The twins of the nation,
That stood in the sky,
Attracted workers and tourists,
The apple of their eye.

Until that day...
When they went up in a blaze,
They were in the sky-high and proud.

So were those birds, but they spoke of no laud.
It all came so quick, they didn't expect they might die.

How could they do this; ruin our pride.
How they left our city; in such a terrible maze.

All the lost souls; from that day,
Now all of them lie; high in the sky.
