I wrote this poem after a "friend" just shoved me aside for another person.
FRIENDS
What are they for?
To pick you up
                     when you are down
Or to simply just
                         leave you there
HANGING…
to be ignored and not told
WHY!
you are there for THEM,
BUT THEY
turn their backs on YOU,
when no help is needed
or something new comes along.
i have had many friends like that
And i simply and innocently
wonder…
WHY?
