A little poem I wrote for school.
Rains drowns out the screams
Fire engulfs our towns
Such a beautiful sight
Years of pain and sin
Now...
Wash Away

The church has fallen
The lost have no place to go
As the earth swallows your past
What do we do now?
How can we even think of tomorrow?
When all else has been lost

Now is such a scary place
Take me away
Please save me
Allow me to be free
The lost have forced me to lose my way
Don't let me become one of them
Now is such a horrible place

Could this mean they were right?
Has the end finally come?

The church in flames
Those who calimed to be so close to the light now burn
Never have they been more illuminated of the truth
As they illuminate the night sky

Will the sun rise again?
Will there be a tomorrow?

Watching my life as it turns to ash
Will something be born from these ashes?
Will humanity rise again?
Reborn in the blood and ash?

Now is such a scary place
The rain now fails to drown out the screams
Our town's nothing but cinders
The end is now...
