Only a moment to gaze in your eyes

Only a moment to hold your hand in mine

Only a moment to kiss your lips

Only a moment to take in your smile

Only a moment stolen in the rush, a heartbeat shared between two

Only a moment and now it’s gone

Only a moment in a lifetime

Many years of moments past

Many years of moments to come

No one more missed than the last

No one more special than the present

No one more wanted than the next.
