Witnessing a crowd of tyrants.
Dawn glides through antique glass, on an early mob.
I strain to let thoughts pass, my spirit shall not be robbed.
Ecliptic tragedy flaws mission, taking focus from vision.
How do my just needs fall in among such grievous deeds?
Be silent, bestowing clemency to the violent.
Treason reigns in a place of mock devotion,
Reason claims the minds of few that hide within the Trojan.
Hiding, hoping that the prize will soar on wings of emotion.
Judgment can never fall on my soul for I am wanting.
My eye blinded by dissension of my will flaunting.
Another loss among the lost, resting on one, yet held by many in time.
It will seek those dwelling in this place of unprotected minds.
Eruptions cause shockwaves, distracting, changing course.
Loss of purpose and, of focus, still imprisoned by remorse.
The song rings out over the crowd, with claps and jeers.
Pride driven seeking for halfhearted cheers.
No matter. They cry “Please see me! Tell me you see my uniqueness”
Among the worst can I find a place among the meekest?
God is a popular angle for greed to hope for payoffs.
Struggles fought for goodness, while the world reclines in layoff.
