There are friends of mine moving away that I won't be able to see as much so I wrote a p/.
As I sit here alone,
Trying to lose myself to music and words once more,
I just can't seem to wash it all away
And numb the pain just a while longer.

One more day to live,
As another chapter in my book comes to an end,
A chapter I hoped to last forever
And carry on in unending bliss.

But happiness doesn't work that way,
Never has.
Eventually it has to end
And we must learn to live again.

But oh how I'll miss those pages,
Those days of laughter and tears and craziness,
And as the realization of ending crashes down on me,
I try not to collapse under the new found pain.

This new beginning
Excites me.
This mournful ending
hurts me.

But as I know for sure
The lessons to come,
I only hope that one day
This happiness will appear again

And maybe last... just a little longer.

I'm gonna miss everyone next year and I wish ya'll the best of luck. (You know who I'm talking to.)
I love ya'll.
