"Daughter, if that mortitian can't put a smile on my face, take me some place else."
Ray’s Smile
Written for Ray Knittle

Mr. Mortician, please give me a smile.
“Cause I’ve had some longings I’ve felt for a while.
I’m very anxious to go through that door,
Really excited to see what’s in store,
On the other side of this mortal existence,
And that’s the reason for my insistence
That Mr. Mortician, you use your best style
To give me the biggest most gracious smile.

It’ll help friends and family to ease their concern.
The look on my face will help them to learn
That this time on earth is just the next part
Of a journey we take that had it’s first start
In a world full of love with our Father in Heaven;
That earth life is just some time we’ve been given.
So Mr. Mortician, please go the next mile
To do your best work and give me a smile.

Cheers,
Ray
