A poem about a bud in bloom.
Days of winter end the
Ice and frost and snow.
As spring erupts in colour
New life begins to grow.

Sun beams burst through with
Light and life and heat.
The world alive in blossom -
Appearance at last complete.

Sights of precious petals bring
Hope and joy and love.
The glory of a bud in bloom:
Splendour purer than a dove.
