This is my first attempt at the Food for the Palate poetry form
BOWL FOOD
June 7, 2010

The green bowl lies before us,
cooked beneath the heat
and fire of morning sun.
With four sturdy spoons,
devour clover,
hooves pound, we
chew!


This was written in the POEM FOR THE PALATE poetry form
This poetry form calls for seven lines with a syllable count of 7, 5, 7, 5, 5, 3, 1
