Unsure on whether this should be a song or poem. This is about love.
As the sunlight fades on the way we were,
I can't help but to reminisce,
I lived and would have died for her,
My mind was blown at every kiss.

This sorrow-ridden path I face every day,
Was nothing when I was yours,
And as I walked I would start to stray,
To see your face once more.

As the sunlight dissolves around our lives,
I can't help but to wonder why,
Foolishly, I found peace in knives,
And cursed the very stars in the sky.

Why can't we have another day?
I could happily fall into your eyes,
We could talk our fears and troubles away,
We wouldn't have to say goodbye.

As the sunlight fails to light your face,
Silhouetted, you fade away,
I'm lost without your warm embrace,
My darkness no longer kept at bay.

Goodbye.
