Picture: A town on fire
Angels mourn as darkness wins.

Brimming with fear, the people beg,

Calling for a hero, though none exist.

Doubt and faith crumble with the buildings.

Evil laughs in the faces of powerless men.

Fire encompasses all they have known.

Gripped by destruction, all cower,

Heeding the spawns and their strength,

Igniting respect with each burning spark.

Joyfully dancing, demons cackle with rage

Knowing the world has surrendered at last

Lingering among barren ruins, children search

Mountains of rubble for a sign of redemption.

No one to hold them, to whisper words of comfort,

Only the red eyes to look to for shelter

Pleading for mercy, longing for acceptance

Quick, quick . . . Look away!

Rapid hypnosis will seal your fate.

“Struggle no more, surrender yourselves;

Triumph is mine,” the Devil doeth say.

“Useless your churches, altars, and temples;

Vile your prayers of forgiveness and glory.

Watch while flames consume all you’ve known.

‘xtreme suffering, your penance now to pay.

You are my children, my slaves, my pets, my toys.

Zealously, you shall bow to only me.”
