Simple and classical poem about losing a loved one.
I Will Move On

As my feet sink
In sand as pure as a
Newborn,

Washed away
By the will of the
Ocean,

I ask myself
If we should stay
Or part ways.

My hands stretch out
To as far as I can
Reach,

They get trapped and
Seduced by the silk of your
Dress.

I ask you:
“Should we stay
or part ways?”

You push apart my hands,
Your response becomes
Inexistent.

I could be happy
With silk within my
Hands,

But what is the point of
Love if you are not
Happy too?

If we have to part ways
I will move on
Broken-hearted.
