A children's poem about two lovable birds.
Lucy and Larry are two birds of a feather.

Friends for life, they’re always together.

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.

Playing shadow games or peek-a-boo,

wave to them as they wave to you.

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.

Their song is soft so listen close with your ears.

When you have a friend for life, you’ve nothing to fear.

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.

Hand and hand they’re travelling as one,

discovering new ways to have lots of fun.

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.

Lucy and Larry have a message to send.

They would like to know, “Would you be their new friend?”

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.

Sharing their hearts and playfulness too,

Lucy and Larry are so glad they met you!

Pit, pat, pitter pat, go their tiny feet.

Two sweeter birds you never will meet.
