Inner strength comes not from succeeding but from trying (Form: Tri-fall)
The Citadel Within

I built a citadel
in the sand
and watched as waves washed it away.
In a final farewell
from this land,
it crumbled as if from decay.

The impression it made
lingered on,
how our efforts all seem in vain.
Yet, I was not afraid.
I was drawn
by the triumphs I could attain.

Success isn't measured
by the things
that we only build with our hands.
Trying's to be treasured
for it brings
forth our strength to meet life's demands.
