how i have enjoyed writing at W.D.C.and why i think writing doesn't always need the dollar
Ode to W.D.C.

Oh to my shock and horror
this schedule of payments
before me I see and i
mistakenly thinking that
double you, thee, see, [ W.D.C.]
was for free...

How on earth shall
I keep in touch with
all my new friends
and how will they
stay in touch with me.

I've got no credit card,
no online banking
you see.
I was of the opinion that
this writing lark
would somehow be free.

Please don't see this verses
as online begging,
It's the principle that
matters to me.
Writing for me is no duty
and each word I write
is for free.

I thought perhaps I
was a gifted author
with all the gifts I recived,
but if dollars and giftpoints
make an author,
then that isn't what
I really want to be.
