To know your love, I consider it a blessing.

To see your love, I jump for joy.

To feel your love, I tremble at remembering.

The way you walked

The way you talked.

I tremble, thinking of the good times we had,

The bad times are distant memories

as if they never happened.

You know in my heart that this was right.

You know in your heart that I was stupid.

I feel the way you think about me,

I know it is only fair.

I know we want to be friends,

You know that we can’t

Our lives lay in different directions.

Our roads just crossed

as if it’s an intersection.

How did I make this turn?

Nothing points back to you,

On this one way road

To hear the words I love you is a memory…

(That fades in the distance)

I know I will never see you,

I will never get back to the way

Things were before this instance.

The thought of knowing your love again, I smile

The thought of seeing your love again, I tear

The thought of feeling your love again, I cry

For It is my fault I have lost all these things…..

Please accept this apology and know that I love you.

Maybe,

I will be blessed to have you in my presence again…

I know that if I did, I would make the same mistake,

Unfortunately.
