The poem depicts the conflicting thoughts that arise in a warriors mind during war
The greatest of warriors,
Considered glorious,
Lament and weep,
In their sleep.

The faces of the dead,
Awake in their head,
Mocking their dread,
Taking away their bread.

They loose all their joy,
And think themselves a toy,
The lust for blood,
Now,lost in this flood.

They have a healthy retreat,
To enjoy Life's treat,
They loose their greed,
To settle and breed.
