This is a poem I wrote for my mothers hometown centenial celebration.
The sun so bright
The hills so green
The perfect place
To sit and dream

Stories are told
To me and you
That tell us what
They all did do

*

Settled to ranch
Or farm the land
Often without
A helping Hand

And many we love
Went to war
To fight for us
And so much more

Some are gone
And some have passed
But forever in us
Their memories last

One hundred years
Have now gone by
Since history began
For you and I

But there is one thing
That we all know
There are many more years
To come and go

So let's celebrate
Future and past
Make all of our
Memories last

* At this point I need to insert a verse or two about a man named Foreman building a post office and a home and naming it "Endiang" I desperatly need some feedback. The Celebration is THIS WEEKEND! If this information goes in it, it will go into history! Please Help me!!!!
