Poem from 10+ years ago. I know it's not the best, but it it describes me. I'm a tomboy.
I don't shop at the Gap,
Bad hair day,
I think I'll throw on a baseball cap.

I don't own ten shades of lipstick,
Or a cupboard full of makeup,
And I don't give a shit what's hip.

I don't care if I break a nail,
I don't shave my legs every day,
But I am just as much a female.

Dresses, skirts,
Acrylic nails aren't for me,
I still love to play in the dirt.

I hate ribbons and lace,
I don't need satin and bows,
To be a part of the female race.

I am a woman inside and out,
Strong and beautiful,
And that's all that counts.
