False Hopes

Angels betraying the light they serve
Red sunrise and Black sunset
People watching the skies, waiting
not saying another sad word

Stars fall from space
Crushing the race of men
Indiscriminately, unfairly
stops the worlds calm

False hopes created
False hopes negated
Nullified in the presence
Of angels with broken wings

Meteors crush houses
The homes of innocent families
Just at the wrong place
Of the moment occurred

Chaos brings out panic,
Panic stirs their fears,
Fears unleash emotions
Emotions bring false hopes

Love cannot stop it
Hate cannot delay it
It was inevitable fate
On an unknown date

Falling to his knees
The last man alive
Sees the remains and shards
Of the world he once called home

The end of man
Was created by man
Running from extinction
They could not run forever

False hopes brought no miracles
No savior or hero to them
False hopes blinded there eyes
Giving in to more false hopes

So the world falls to darkness
Humans begin on earth and end
But in another dimension, another universe
We've just begun our lives

Their end not yet determined
False hopes will lead to no retaliation
When the end starts to happen
We join together to prevent it
