A metaphor for a man
I witnessed a shack without a man,
it looked cold, weary, and mean.
Every time I have seen it I have ran,
it was alone as I have seen.

I stopped to look for the first,
it revealed a gaping hole.
I felt like it was cursed,
as if it had no soul.

This void seemed desperate,
with deep scars on the walls.
It and I were separate,
it had nothing, nothing at all.

Help it seeked,
I was hesitant to help.
it seemed too weak,
sorrow is what i felt.

I tried to break down the door,
it would not move.
No keyhole, no handle, neither nor,
I could not help, I could not soothe.

Save it I could not,
it has changed me, for the worst.
It made me start to rot,
this monster was the source.

I witnessed a shack without a man,
a shack with no key,
a shack with no light,
a shack that has destroyed me.
