This is written about my bathroom mirror during my darkest times.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
staring back, sleek and cold,
I wish i could see life through your eye,
just the glimpses you catch, the fragments you spy.

Though you only see pieces,
though you dont see it all,
I wonder what it's like,
hanging there on that wall?

You hear all the shouting,
the anger the swears,
you see me retreat,
you see all my tears.

Your always there,
and no one does notice,
and if i could see life through your eyes,
I could glimpse a world full of sadness.

Not just the fights,
not just the pain,
I suppose you see joy,
through your shiny frame.

Life is a mystery,
one you hardly know.
Yet you are the lucky one,
just to let you know.

You have a limited viewpoint,
the world's what you want,
you dont take the horror,
the memories that haunt.

But i just go now,
for time slowly slips,
and the things that you see,
loosen my grip.

I may just fall,
I know its hard,
It's hard to stay whole,
When your life is in shards.
