poem on wasted time
       
To Keep something dead       


The past just won't go away
Sadness broken veins and razor blades
Watching clocks just drifting in time
Wanting and learning
Through innocent childhood smiles
Fear tactics
To keep something dead alive
The not letting go
Keep the dog chain tight
Small men in big cars
Wearing the masks afraid of the light
Small men like me
Who don't even drive
