A collection of poems, that I created.
Passion or Ruins?

Pride in a withered soul
It takes a never-ending toll
Beneath moon and stars at night
Selfish souls take flight
Beneath the glowing sun
Greedy souls run
Souls that have given up hope plead
So over-run with greed

New passions start with a wink
Now a over in a blink
Life a hopeful sign
To which people seem resigned

Connected humanity

Furious at first
It came through in a burst
An awesome rage
came on stage

A mystery, a mystery
Yet . . . a great part of history
When you look you see
Not willing to believe

Everything is linked
The connection disappearing in a blink
Is it humanity
Or is it insanity.

Friend or Foe?

Friend or foe
You never know
An enemy runs with glee
But a friend will never flee

When adversity strikes a friend stands by
While an enemy runs and hides
The need to flee too great
Never knowing what’s at stake

You try to find what’s right
And for that you fight
Now you have what is good
Like you always knew you would.

Nature

The thunder rolls
Across a midnight sky
Black as coal
A never-ending high

The lightning strikes
White against black
With all of its might
Looking as if it might attack

The rain falls
Fast and sinuous
Like whispered calls
The results disastrous

A shattered heart

A glass rose falls
But no one’s attention is called
Shattered on the ground
Waiting to be found

Bewildered is the one who found
The rose on the ground
Shattered like a woman’s heart
Whose love is destroyed so soon after it’s start

Bewildered is she whose love has fallen apart
She with the broken heart
She gave it one last try
But it ended with her cries

With a cold steel barrel
She attempts to end her peril
Without a miss
She falls into her bliss

Dreamlike serenity

Life so unreal
No true emotions to feel
Life unhanded
Fate demanded
The mournful cry
From the soulful eye
No one has died
Destiny has tried
To thwart times mission
So unreal by omission
No one can hide
We need to abide
Sometimes it seems
That no one can be seen
We all have our dreams
But we never know what it means
Yet where do we go
Whenever there is need to know
Where our deepest desire doest lay
Or is it out by the bay
Where do we go
When life decides to throw
Whatever it feels
It never heals
Life so unreal

Beauty captured

Beauty is captured in a picture
No one bothering
To thank the world of beauty
In this world

For so much as happened as to let life go
Unhampered by most
And admired by some
The beauty of the world is of an infinite sum.

Supernatural Light

Supernatural light
Coming from above
Even when it’s night
The joys of love

Yet no one can find
The cause of this light
Causing joy in the mind
Like a dove in flight
That supernatural light.
