A wife finds a love letter from her dying husband. Feedback welcome.
As you search the broken wreckage of my Soul
You find the letters I once would hold
Of love, that we once would share
When I only wanted you to be there.

As you cry your tears of sorrow
Please think of yesterday
As well as tomorrow
Although our time together was short-lived
All of my Love, was yours to give.

Through cold winters
And summer nights
As we made Love under the starry skies
Our love bloomed, we thought was here to stay
But the Hand of Fate stepped in
And cruelly took it all away.

Please don't doubt me
Was my love always True?
Sweet love of mine
There was only you!
