But Did She Have To Die?

As they pulled into the driveway from their night out on the town.

She had no idea how her life would turn around.

A few drinks and alot of tension. Stresses from the day.

Led to acts so brutal forced her to her knees. She prayed.

She had never felt the power of his angered tightened fist.

The power as he held her down. Gripping both her wrists.

She cried out in pain that night. He didn't hear her sob

A demon he became that night. Her innocence he robbed.

The morning brought new sorrow when she looked into the mirror.

The swelling and the bruising had confirmed her aching fear.

Now she has some inner questions. Choices she must make.

As he begs her for forgiveness. All she could do was shake.

He goes to work that morning leaves the shell of her behind.

The flowers she receives that day . Puts confusion in her mind

Now the blissful love affair is secrets she can't tell.

The happy home of yesterday has transferred into hell.

How can she just throw away so many years of life?

Because of one mistake he made that crazy angry night.

She made the choice to leave him. The trust was gone for good.

He begged her not to go exactly like she knew he would.

She made the break and lived in fear his stalking never ceased.

Only three weeks later.... the news had been released.

Two found dead on Mill St., apparent murder suicide.

Although she did the right things. In the end she had to die.
