I wrote this after watching children seach rock pools by the sea
Wonderment of Youth

Wistful whiles of innocence
Laid bare upon the sand,
Those dreams of perpetuity
Aspiring dreams so planned.
Washed away so long ago
By sea’s of scornful truth.
Those dreams of gold, were mine to hold...
In wonderment of youth…
