Ever wanted a new beginning?
Fall to your death,
rot and decay
she shakes and cries
in her own dismay.

Mourning the loss
and turning grey
this poor mother wilts
as she shrivles away.

Frozen with sorrow
and still as can be
this lifeless vessle
is disheartening.

Melancholy winds
are all that is heard
along with the silence
of the crickets and birds.

But all is not lost
with the cracking and gnawing
babies peak through
as Mother Earth starts clawing.

It's a new beginning for all that had passed
trees now with new foliage
and water ways now flow
and new born animals pay homage.

To all endings
that have new beginnings
to every tear
that's ever been cried
take a deep breath
and look where you're standing.

Learn from yesterday
and respect tomorrow
for every ending
has a new beginning.
