Written for someone whom I disdained until I learnt of his true character.
O Strange One

O Strange One
Herein now
I contemplate -
The mystery of
Circumstances
That some call Fate.

O Strange One -
You are a strange one.
I thought I had you
Figured out -
The impression you gave
Was not to my taste

O Strange One -
To my chagrin
But now happy within -
You taught a lesson

O Strange One -
That you'd see
What I could not.
You've outpaced me
Master and ace
Of this game

Yet my wandering thoughts
Of 'What-ifs' and naught
So close, so cold -
What would have been lost.

O Strange One!
Here is my hat
To you, I salute

Strangers once
Now it seems
That I might be
The strange one.

O Strange One
O Strange One...

I see you now.

A/n: O strange one, saying so because I found my new friend very odd...until he showed me that I was not too different.
