An elderly man plays chess against his son.
Pawn takes pawn

Slip of the mind I guess
It happens these days

No matter I feel that approaching myself soon

Knight takes pawn

Am I right in recalling my King has never bowed to yours?

Does your mind slip or does your ego need rubbing?

Question takes question
Bishop takes knight

You recall correctly but the present mustn't be overlooked

My eyes haze, there isn't much I don't overlook

King runs
Rook pursues
Check
King runs further

There isn't much my mind hasn't revealed to yours over the years is there?
Funny that the checkered board is the final maze I have guided you through

Thank you father

Knight hunts
Checkmate
