Your actions aren't always what your inner self would like the world to see.
Patience is a virtue,
Most would agree,
Life is a lesson,
Thrown unto you and me,

Time is sand flying through the air,
Time is something that has no care,
When you see your reflection, what do you see?
A humble, gracious, caring human being?

Or do you see your life flashing through the dark,
Do you see the way you hurt your body and stabbed your heart?
Feel the way you use to be,
Feel the way you made yourself feel unease,

See the way you had no care,
See the way you let yourself become the demon behind your own glare,
Look at your mistakes and dwell within your heart,
There is no way to go and erase your past,

Take this time to see and reflect,
Life throws you chances,
You have the choice to see,
Or you have the choice to forget.
