This is my first good poem, I wrote it last year about my dad cause I was bored and mand.
Wherever I turn, you're always there
Everywhere I go, I see your face
No matter what I do
No matter what I say

You are always there to mock me
Why won't you let me be
You say that you love me
But I don't see how

Why can't you see
I don't need you to be there
But you are
You haunt my mind
I don't you to be kind to me
I don't want your excuses
or you're pity
If you cared
You wouldn't do these things

I don't see why you always have to be there
Why can't you understand
I don't want you to be there
I just want you to go away

But you say you love me
You think you can make excuses
And feel sorry for yourself
But I don't care any more

Don't you see?
I don't need you
Even though, you're always there
Haunting me

I just want to be me
But you won't let me
As long as you're there
I can't be me
I don't need you to believe in me

You've turned my world upside down
Why can't you see
I don't need you to butt in
This is my life
So let me live it

I can't be myself
Because you're always there
Why can't you let me live my life without you?
Why won't you let me face the world alone?

You don't care about me
Because all you want is for me to feel sorry for you
Well too bad
I don't care any more
Because I don't need you to be there

You're always there
But you don't care enough to listen
Because you only care about you
Even though you say you love me

You're always there
Ruining my life
Can't you see
I don't want you any more
Why do you always have to be there

All you say any more is that you love me
But I don't love you any more
There is no such thing as eternal love
Because everything has to fade to black
And I'm not the same person
Neither are you
Or are you?
I never saw it before
Your lies,
deceit,
betrayal
and empty promises and words

We both hate change
But it's the only thing that lasts forever
And it tore us apart

Now even the sun feels cold and dark
Because you're always there
I don't need you
Now that I can stand
On my own
