A poem i wrote when heading off to bed.
When i lay down to sleep,
into my head my dreams shall creep.

They seek a thought good or bad,
a thought lonely or happy or sad.

When a thought is in their hold,
they begin to twist and turn and mold.

They can become things of light,
where blinding love is a thing of might,

or they may seep into things of night,
whose dark embrace will wrap you tight.

So think things happy for your dreams to mold,
and hope that fright is not in their hold.

So lay yourself down to sleep,
and in your head your dreams shall creep.
