A poem about the loss of my daughter
I did not know that
you were sick
I could not feel your pain
I held you inside me
For some reason though I worried
Mother’s intuition I don’t know
But I prayed everyday for your health
The day had come to hear those words
“There is no heartbeat”
Etched into my heart
You were gone
Yet you were there on that screen
Inside me
I miss you my sweet little angel
You are forever in my heart
Love Mommy
