Love Ballad
I’ll be right here to Hold

    I’ve been down and lonely

I’ve been hurt down deep inside:

And just like you I’ve been abused

By hurtful words and lie’s:

Lord I used to get so angry

But now I stop and hold my breath:

Wishing that someone like you

Lay gently on my chest:

So when the world turns cold

And the north wind starts to blow

Think of me my angel:

I’ll be right here to hold

The years rush by like fireflies,

Their so hurried, rushed, and bold

And as I count them by their numbers

There’s some signs I’m growing old:

Oh I still got my head about me:

And my hairs not all turned gray:

I’m at my feet without assistance

When I kneel down to pray:

So when the world turns cold

And that north wind starts to blow:

Think of me my angel,

I’ll be right here to hold:

Think of me my angel

When fate turns its wicked head

Just come in close for shelter

Life’s not all gloom and dread

The sun it still shines bright

On this life, that’s paid its dues

And now has brought me from the darkness

So I can dream of you

I’ll be right here to hold

I’ll be right here to hold…….
