Romantic Getaway

~~~We've started packing our baggage
a road trip vacation; cruising the highway taking in the scenery, its
an alone time long overdue; just you and I, our little getaway; this
day we're headed to the beach

night or two; candlelight dinner, music wafting the sultry night
air, Cristal on ice; eyes shining bright as I take in your lovely
beauty as if, I've never seen it before

~~~I've ran a jacuzzi, heated to lull
us in rapture of one another's essence; tenderly touching soft
silken skin wet and inviting, lips in pouted want; fingers tease its
outline, as eyes close; heat rises

~~~romance in the air; anticipation,
its mere thought cajoles my senses to kiss every inch of nakedness
exposed to me; tastefully taking my time, letting being together
like this; to sink into my very being

~~~our closeness grabs hold of me;
as if, its our first time meeting, just holding you does something
to me; that I can't seem to put into words

~~~my whole world evolves around you,
the way you make me feel, that little telltale smirk, that gleam in
your eye that tells me; something is about to happen that will be
pleasurable for the both of us

never be happy without you to fulfill my every need, dream, want
or every breath that I take is the essence of you; you're the fiber of
my being who and what I am as a man, husband, protector, the defender of
your honor in my life
