Simple Poem reflecting life
Burgundy

Endeavoring the sequels and
thrust into change
Life's hollow discomforts
and sorrowful pain
Always watchful on the horizon
the winds blow
The Sun sets dutifully as
the day's offerings go
Then the night comes and
offers the quest
Droves upon droves enter
as her benign guests
Folly upon folly wandering
from youth
Then easily retired never
seeking the truth
The grapes change their colour
all in full time
From water to vinegar or
perhaps into wine
