A sad poem.
When the autumn breeze wafts in
let them know I’ll always want you again
and whisper naught of things undone
of mystic nights when we chased the sun
(and I lay down on the shore of love)

When the world awakens tomorrow
let them know we never knew sorrow
and tell them we kissed the rain
while letting go of everything
(as I let the waves surround me, love)

When the gates of heaven open for you
let me hear the words I know are true
and kiss away the tears on my face
then let me dwindle into my special place
(for I lived and drowned for your love)
