Just a collection of short poems.
Pride

The rain is my dearest friend,

It tells no one of my deadly sins,

Nor my dangerous secrets.

It clings to my clothes and hair,

even when it has gone.

It caresses my cheeks,

promising better days.

And it gives me pride for when I walk with it,

No one can see me cry.

Wasted Time

As I wipe away thesse worthless tears,

And hear the shouts resound within my ears.

Wondering why I wasted so much time,

When the memories you gave me never shine.

Yet some how your smile seemed so real,

As did everything you pretended to feel.

I shall never again be yours to have and hold

For of all the lies you told,

My favourite was I love you.

Love

Love is wishful thinking,

And nights spent dreaming.

It is unwanted tears,

And the bliss before a fall.

Love is a life spent searching,

And getting your heart broken

Again and again.
