How I feel right now, put into twelve lines of iambic pentameter.
I'm planning what to wear and what to say
But when I see you, I get so tongue-tied
That all my planned-out words fly far away
And I duck out of sight to try to hide.
Although I know that you won't look at me
When other pretty girls are all around,
I still wish you would look at me and see
me and say hi, since I can't make a sound.
But you just walk on by; I start to shake
My knees go weak and I feel my heart ache.
I'm sad and scared right now, but tomorrow,
I'll look you in the eyes and say hello.
