About an apocalyptic darkness.
Darkness

In darkness born, in darkness to die
I never asked nor wondered why
I was condemned to this black sty
I always really thought I knew
That I had done some wrong
Yet recently I realized
I am innocent
As morning dew.
And so after not knowing for so long
I had done no heinous crime
I was at loss to see the truth,
That this place was my right.
But I have learned to cherish here,
So I care not right now,
But should I wish to leave my cell,
Woe to those who hold me down,
Who hold me back, who make me drown,
But now I’m
Drowning in this dark,
This unforgiving dark,
Freezing in this cold,
This unrelenting cold,
So I break out of my prison,
And into the free world,
In my cloud of black destruction,
Woe to all who hear my word.
