A garden in progression.

Sweet peas with the autumn rain,
Tangle as tenticles rise.
And searching, discover
Trellis, stakes, string
Frantically pounded
into soil wet, yet miable.

Morning glories, 15 feet and
rising, ne'er a match
for one ameateur garden.
Rising, curling, seeking
border, backdrop, needing
to balance there load.

Yet roses seem independent.
On there own, florishing
despite harsh black rust,
deceptive spiders, invisible
mites; winter merely
annoyance.

A garden, orange trees,
lemon trees, simply
wonderment enjoyed
as sunshine traverses
leaves, branches,
marking rainbows
in the grass.
