just a poem i made up about an ex-boyfriend
Walking down the silent street.
In the dead of night.
Walking what had just happened.
Why did I let it get that far.

I thought I loved him.
I thought he loved me too.
But he only wanted me for his pleasures.
Then I would be thrown out like trash.

It got very far, way too far.
I was going to lose it.
Lose it to him sadly.
That’s all he wanted from me.

But I didn’t let it happen.
Thank the Lord!
But a good friendship was lost.
Lost in the deep sea of peer pressure.

I kind of miss that friendship.
Before it turned all nasty.
We were nice and kind.
But that all changed.

I saw the real him, the monster.
I never want to see that again.
It’s scary and so unreal.
To think a person could be like that.

Only wanting to use you, nothing more.
They never really love you.
They only love you for what you have.
Don’t be fooled by their acts.
