A sweet idea gone wrong.

Cake

I baked you a cake
I sure do hope you like it
I put every thing you like in it
I even asked a psychic.

She told me about your little dog
Boy, he sure was sweet
I hope the same goes for his tail
It’s buried in your treat.

She said how much you love your mom
So I put her fingers in it
I even got some of her teeth
I stole them from the dentist.

Your sister never liked me
I have no reason why
So I didn’t put her in the cake
Instead she’s in a pie.

I baked you a cake
I don’t know why you’re crying
I thought you would appreciate
Just how hard I’m trying.

I baked you a cake
And now I know you hate it
I guess I should have told you
What was in it before you ate it…
